Slightly cropped from original. The depth of sharp focus is around 0.3mm, and holding the camera by the open end of a telescope is quite guaranteed not to be flush straight with the imaging area, not to mention the focusing ability with such an arrangement. And yes, I have the T-rings ordered, they just haven't arrived yet.
The image is of course a mirror image, so Mare Crisium is visible in the upper left part of the Moon.
